Harvest Festival in Prospect Park
On hold in 2020 and 2021, Saturday evening in October, 5:30-8pm
The Harvest Festival is a fall evening gathering of community to share food, music, art, laughter, conversation and ideas. It takes place on the land immediately south of United Crushers grain elevators and is an event that showcases the value, importance, the unique potential of this site to become a signature green gathering place for the neighborhood.
Come, bring your friends, and enjoy a festive fall evening with other community residents, learn what’s happening in the Towerside Innovation District, and share your ideas for enriching our community!
Free activities in 2018 included:
Puppet Parade featuring students from East Side Neighborhood Services, and Venture Academy, starting at 4:30pm
Music & Performances by Roe Family Singers, Alma Andina, Accordion Music & Repair by Dan Turpening, and Adam J Kiesling Music and Whatnot, starting at 5:00pm
Fresh Food including pizza from Prospect Park Community Gardens, appetizers from Profile Event Center, and Fresh Thyme Farmers Markets, starting at 5:00pm
Engagement Opportunities with Towerside: Minneapolis-Saint Paul's Innovation District and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board
