Pratt School and Tower Hill Park
The Pratt Ice Cream Social Fundraiser is one of the most anticipated events of the year! This event is sponsored and co-organized by the Pratt Parent-Teacher Organization with the Prospect Park Association in order to raise funds for Pratt Community School and PPA. What draws people in from throughout the Twin Cities, though, is that this event is the one day a year that the Witch's Hat Water Tower is open! To manage the crowds waiting to ascend the tower, we use a fixed number of cards so that 80 people at a time can be in the tower at any given time.
Organization and staffing of the event is on a volunteer basis.
Thank you for a great 2019 event! In the Spring of 2020, if you are interested in working a shift as a volunteer at the Ice Cream Social, please call the PPA Community Outreach Coordinator at 612-767-6531.
